
John Weston
Retired CEO, Newbury Consulting Group
John earned degrees at UNH (’80) and Tuck School at Dartmouth (’85). His early career highlights include CFO, software sales, as well as executive roles at PeopleSoft (1997-2005). As CEO of Newbury Consulting Group since 2005, John founded, grew, and sold three technology consulting firms before retiring in 2021. John now focuses on applying his business skills to help nonprofit organizations in the US and Nicaragua with strategic planning, fundraising, and finance.
Helping the Tola, Nicaragua community is a primary focus for John and wife, Jayne. John is a Board or Advisory Council member for The Roberto Clemente Health Clinic, CREA, Buy Food With Plastic, and The Neo Fund. He is also “founder” of the Los Cocos Community Organic Farm.
John has been visiting Nicaragua regularly since 2003.
